Changing it up

For someone that is not a fan of change...I seem to make a ton of them on my blog!

 

I am changing this blog...again. 

 

I am years and years behind on Kelly andJake's baby albums and family albums.  By time I am finished, they will probably have children of their own :)  So, I am starting the long process of documenting their lives and precious memories.  Instead of the traditional paper scrapbooking, I am using digital kits and images.  As I slowly finish the pages, I will post them on our family blog and then have them printed to make their books.

Rainy Day = Fort Building

We had a rainy, rainy day here in SoCal and the kids and
I were both getting a bit stir crazy in the house.  So, we pulled out every blanket
we could find and made some fun forts!  They stayed up a lot longer
than I thought they would and even the dog had fun exploring!

after dinner…so much fun and so good!!

Merry Christmas!!

Happy Birthday Jesus!!

We celebrated this joyous time with friends and family.  It was a blessed Christmas filled with love, laughter, surprises, food, fun and a few meltdowns (maybe one from me) ;)  We praised our Heavenly Father for the most precious gift…Emanuel, The Messiah, Jesus.  Our voices sang songs of joy our hearts cried out His name.  There were presents and paper flying everywhere and smiling children running around with their new toys.  We prepared for Santa’s visit with cookies, milk, carrots and reindeer food.  Our eyes lit up with pure excitement when we woke up to stockings overflowing with trinkets and a special note from the big man himself!  Memories made, memories cherished!

We followed Santa’s path by calling 1-877-hi-norad.  The first time we called he was in India, then Scotland and on to the USA!!  It is amazing how quick they hopped into bed when they heard he was flying over Arizona!!

 

Jake has recently become a Star Wars fan. 
Was he ever excited when he received this gift!!  
 

Grammy & Papa’s Tree!

My parents gave Kelly & Jake a trampoline for the backyard.  To find this gift, they had to follow clues around the house.  It was so much fun watching them!
